Sanda Blonde is a light golden IPA with aromas of grapefruit and passion fruit. Flavors of gooseberry and citrus fruits are prevalent with a good citrus and hop bitterness to making it a deliciously easy drinking IPA.

Trivia: Sanda gets its name from the Sanda lighthouse, located off the southern tip of the Mull of Kintyre in southwestern Scotland.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a medium white head. The nose is grain, straw, grass, citrus and a big dose of soap. The taste is soap, pithy citrus, lime, grapefruit, straw, grass, grainy and some underlying sweetness, with a dry, citric finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly syrupy mouth-feel. Alright stuff, but I definitely prefer the black version.

Cask at The Old Fountain, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Toasty straw nose, pale malts, lemon and other dry citrus. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of dough, straw, dry lemon. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately dry to finish with straw and hay, light dry grass, pale malts. Pretty darn drinkable stuff. Nice dry citrus, grapefruit and grass character linger.

Cask, handpump, Craft, Clerkenwell, Saturday 15th September 2012 Pours light gold with only a very slight haze going on. Big sulphorous nose, really eggy but actually quite pleasant as there is an undercurrent of hops noticeable as well. Good IPA very tasty with plenty of sweet citrus, soft mouthfeel. Great beer, really great, possibly best of the day for me. A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.1
