The Techno Double Ipa presents an intense amber colour with a compact white head. The hops used, Simcoe and Chinook, give it pleasant exotic and fruity notes of mango and grapefruit, making it even more inviting.
Despite the high alcohol percentage, this beer is surprisingly drinkable. The looping single malt as its base and the high frequencies of the hop included during the boil, as well as of the dry hopping, deliver an extrasensory rave party.

Bottle shared. Pours very hazy Amber with a thin off white head. Aroma of pine, big orange, citrus, floral aspects and caramel malt. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with light carbonation. One of those IPAs where the hop resin sticks to your tongue and comes out of your pours.

Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Sweetish malts, dry cream. Little alcohol spice. Mildly spicy orange hops. Light dry finish. Pretty clunky for a dipa but a passable beer.

330ml bottle. Clear, copper colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy, minimally sweaty, piney hop aroma, hints of orange and lemon, a touch of pineapple, biscuity caramel malty basis. Taste is crisp bitter hoppy, citrusy, notes of lemon, orange, a touch of pine, caramel malty backbone. Quite standard in a sense (or to put it this way, following a distinguishable ideal), but exactly the standard that took great efforts for the precursors to develope it over years, and therefore exactly the level of artisanship you have to reach as a brewer before you seriously should think about setting new standards, about improvement and variation of a style; hence not avant-garde, but a really nice DIPA.

12/03/2014 Mad For Beer (tap). Ambrata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianco sporca leggera, mediamente persistente.

Bottle (BB 09/2018) @Beer Hunters
Hazy ruby color, steady off-white head. Quite weak nose, just some vegetables and herbal notes. Medium-bodied. A bit glueish, alcoholic, some herbal hoppyness. Quite simple, nothing special here despite of fine hops used.
