Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy very dark brown with a big and lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and rather hoppy - pine and grapefruit. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. A bit thin. 221113

From tap @ 2nd Kimchi Farm Festival (10 August 2013). Black color. Dense beige head. Aroma’s: fresh hops, resin, skunk, drop/licorice. Drop, resin & laurel/bay leaves retronasal. Flavor is moderately bitter, roasted, with a light sweetness. Light bodied. Fairly bitter finish. Excellent.

Bottle shared by Joes. Opaque black color, small to medium sized beige head. Smell malts, hops, lightly fruity. Taste malts, some hops, lightly fruity and a light sourish hint. Average body, medium carbonation. Decent but not a real succesful black IPA imo. Lacks body, hoppiness and especially roasted malts.

Bottle @ joes. Dark brown to ruby colour with a big beige head. Smells roasty, coffee, chocolate, hops. Tastes roasty, some coffee, bitter, fresh.. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

Draft at kompaanFASTival. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of grass, citrus, light chocolate, roast. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
