(Bottle, thanks to Håkan) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy tan head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, apricots, oak wood, barnyard and vinegar. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, blood orange, apricots, vinegar, oak wood, red wine, barnyard, brett and a generous acidity in a finish with a fairly low bitterness. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness. Generous acidity, lots of wood and brett. Very nice.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours translucent copper with a near-white head. Aroma of tart pale stone fruit with some passion fruit. Med plus body. Flavor is tart/sour fruit - red berry with some light spice and somewhat musty wood. Has a bit of sugar, so arguably it’s sweet/tart. Pleasing sensation in the mouth. Musty wood pervades everything in a moderate/acceptable manner. Quite tasty.

Sample at 101BK Westerville during the "Mid Week Beer Geek Features" event on 12/20/2017. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of oak, tropical fruit, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of vinous oak, Belgian yeast, stone fruit, malt and a touch of floral hop. The finish is oaky with a yeast and wine aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

750 ml bottle into chalice, bottled on 3/31/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, red/green apple, white grape, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, guava, berry, peppercorn, clove, red wine, oak, hay, straw, herbal, grass, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, red wine barrels, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, red/green apple, white grape, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, guava, berry, peppercorn, clove, red wine, oak, hay, straw, herbal, grass, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast/oak spiciness and light wine tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, red/green apple, white grape, mango, melon, passion fruit, papaya, guava, berry, peppercorn, clove, red wine, oak, hay, straw, herbal, grass, cracker, biscuit, oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, red wine barrels, and pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt, yeast/oak spiciness, and wine tang/tartness balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from yeast/oak spiciness, wine tang/tartness, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body, with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky/tannic, lightly tangy/acidic, and slightly silky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mildly increasing warmth of 9.7% after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding barrel aged Brett Tripel! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, red wine barrels, and pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV; with the modestly spicy/tart/tannic/drying finish. Wonderful well rounded fruity/funky Brett with balanced Belgian Trappist yeast complexity; fantastic wine barrel integration and balancing pale malt backbone. Well attenuated for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Really excellently treated here. Good stuff like divine savages. Grapefruit, still some of the florals and coriander of tripel. Some tangerine. Lots of flavor here and good balance. Tap at Snally.
