Blushing Monk is brewed with a ridiculous amount of raspberries and with a Belgian yeast strain that keeps our head cellar operator from sleeping for a week. Tap @Rowdy hops, session 1. Clear amber, offwhite head. Sweet citrus and reaspberry aroma, red berries. Malty flavour, red berries, citrus, some caramel. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Pours deep ruby red with a big pinkish head. Aromas of sweet raspberries, gummy bears, sugary, light funk. Taste is the "fuckin same" as my rating say. Lol.

Draught @ Rowdy Hops Festival, Ridehuset. Pours hazy dark reddish brown with an offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, light sourness, yeast, fruity, red berries, raspberry. Flavor is sweet, light tart fruity, malt, yeasty, sweets, candy, fruit, red berries, raspberry, light alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet ligh tart fruity finish with light warming alcohol. To sweet for my liking. 011119

Schönes dunkles Rot im Glas. In der Nase sehr fruchtig, die Himbeeren sind deutlich wahrzunehmen. Im Trunk ebenso fruchtig, sehr mächtig, cremig, keine Spur alkoholisch, echt gutes Dessertbier.

The aroma is an aromatic, perfume raspberry. Flavor is exactly the same, made me sweet with a hint tart and good carbonation and body. Slight medicinal finish but basically pretty good fruit beer.

Pours ruby red with minimal head. It has a big raspberry rich aroma. The flavor is sweet with loads of raspberries and some tartness that keeps it from getting too sweet. It's medium bodied and the 9% abv is well hidden. I noticed it some in the finish. Very tasty brew.
