De Vagebond is een ambachtelijk, koperkleurig bier. Vienna bier was lange tijd de tegenhanger van het bekendere pils. Onze Vagebond is geïnspireerd op de oude receptuur van dit soort bier. Het resultaat is een bekroond, ondergistend bier voor alle jaargetijden. Een vol en goed doordrinkbaar bier; moutig van smaak en met een lichtbittere afdronk.

Pours a deep orange/light amber with a thin white head. Aroma of malts, floral hops, vegetables. Hoppy, bitter aftertaste. A rather light beer to drink, but tasty enough.

Bottle 0,3ltr: Amber coloured brew with an slighlty spicy taste and hints of caramel, nice beer from our beer desert province of Drenthe.

Bottle at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a clear amber colour with a thin white head. The aroma is biscuit dough malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, sweet sugary malt, toffee, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle brought back from the brewery - thanks, mum & dad! Pours hazy amber with a thin, off-white head. Aroma & taste have brioche & caramel malt, plum, red apple, sourish red berries underneath, a bit herbal bitter. Lingering caramel maltiness in the finish, herbal & even earthy hoppy in the very end, good for balance. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Likeable Vienna.

Bottle. Amber color. Licorice and apple syrup in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with notes of licorice. Roast and licorice in the finish. Soft cellar notes. Difficult start, but it smehow grows on you.

330mml. Bottle tasted on the 19/11/2018 at Groningen (Netherlands) Clear amber colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, malts, grains and light toffee. Taste is caramel malts and grains. Soft roasted bread and floral finish. Low body and medium carbonation. Next one please!
