A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth herbaceous malt with grassy hops, mineral notes. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with light smooth hops, very nice and smooth. Bottle shared with GRM and ProbstK. July 24 2011. Merci Sylvain.

Bottle 55cl @ Alvinne shop.

550ml bottle from Bierkompass

Pours orange with a foamy head. Aroma has hints of vegetables, grass, herbs and hops. Taste is quite herbal with notes of spices, honey and hops. Finish is quite sticky and sweet. Okay, but not really a golden ale.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Sweet flowery spice and yeast aromas. Crisp with sweet earthy citrus upfront turning to a woody resin finish.

ACBF. Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Light crisp palate, a little dry. Some lactose sweetness. Mild lemon citrus on a lagerish malt base. Crisp finish. Alright but was hoping for more from this brewer. Needed more Sorachi I think - and wasn’t it supposed to brewed with Sake yeast?
