Pours hazy golden color wiith white head. Aromas of citrus and yeast with some mustiness. Flavors of lemon and bread dough with some earthiness. Medium body with lively carbonation. A nice beer but probably wouldn’t buy again because of the steep price tag.

Medium light body with moderate carbonation. 8/3/8/4/16 - 3.9 Bottle from Once Upon a Vine - North on 09/12/2010. Cloudy orange body with a medium creamy white head. Sweet citrusy and fruity aroma. Sweet citrus and resiny flavor, some fruity notes on a mild malt background. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 8/3/8/4/16 - 3.9

Bomber? from Wine and Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy gold with a 2 finger foamy white head. Aroma is something like a citric belgian. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is citric, and there seems to be a spicey, gingery touch. It is bitter, but the spice seems stronger. It is very flavorful, though that tails off in the finish. Still a great drinking beer.

Draught at Churchkey, paired with aged manchego cheese and peach compote. Golden color, white edge head. Aroma of dirty wet socks, lemon peel, lime. Taste has plenty of maly, lots of citrus, and a bit of cardboard and oriental noodles. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a moderate, white head. Holds a lovely citrus aroma with notes of spice, honey, caramel and mild hops. Very sweet flavor, with more honey and caramel, along with light bread and fruit tones. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Finishes sweet with mild, grassy and earthy hops. Very good beer.

Draught at the Brewery’s restaurant. Similar to the Sorachi Gold that the put out at the 2010 Tokyo Real Ale Festival, but with much lower alcohol. Golden orange color, tall fine head. Aroma of citrus, honey, oak cask, vanilla. Smooth sweet flavor, heavyish body. Very interesting and drinkable, though the sorachi hops add a wild, oaky, buttery flavor that can get to be too much.
