Belgian-style ale is strong and bold. Rich imported malts and Belgian Yeast lead to an exciting complexity of flavor. Herbal and fruity notes dance around your palate, ending with a smooth, dry finish.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to chalice.
Appearance: burnt amber color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral to mixed citrusy tones, Belgian sugars, orange peel, subtle bubblegum, some banana and some clove
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a sweet to lightly spicy tone; finishes fairly sweet through most of those aromas
Texture: light to medium bodied; kinda a sipper; light smoothness and not much of that "throaty Belgian-grab-like dryness" that I would have wanted for the style
Overall: eh, there's something good here but I can't quite right put my finger on it...hmmm...

Can. Pours clear golden yellow with very small frothy off-white head that disappears fast, very faint sweet malt aroma, adequate carbonation, sweet malty taste with earthy Belgian yeast flavor, thin body, long sweetish finish that leaves a medium bitter aftertaste. Decent brew.

16 ounce can. Bright golden hue. No head at all!?! Weird Apple-like aroma. Light, sweet fruity malt flavor. A bit cidery. A hint of yeastiness. Thin bodied for a Tripel. Not very representative of the style. Disappointing.

Draft at the brewery. Clear gold. Frothy white head. Belgian yeast, clove. Some fruitiness. Leans toward sweet. Tingly feel. Sticky. Well hidden ABV. A little too sweet and sticky for personal preference.
