Sampled from the tap at Tørst. Pours a deep brown with a slight amber hue and a bubbly brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains with some roast and a bit of a bready umami. Flavor is bready throughout with a decent umami mushroom and almost a hint of anise coming through.

On tap at The Beer Temple, pours a clear dark amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma is full of umami from the mushrooms, subdued French saison yeast, and some bready oaky notes. Flavour is surprisingly nice, with a nice mix of saison yeast, butterscotch, and umami notes. Nice unusual mix of flavours that work well together. Very good.

[5/9/2019] Draught at Koelschip in Copenhagen. Dark brown. Dark fruits, mushrooms, cookies, sweetish and a bit spicy, bitter finish, alcohol, medium-bodied. Kinda strange.

Pretty good, interesting beer. The mushroom component gives it a subtle musty aspect which pairs well with the dark malts and soft carbonation.
