Growler from Buyrite in Cranbury, NJ. Notes of chocolate licorice, cardamom, Ruger Chocolate Wafers, carob powder, chervil, dandelion leaves and Bosco syrup. Bittersweet hops in finish yield to Hershey’s cocoa powder fidelity. Bitter and bold, as one would expect from the Carton collective. Go find this and indulge.

Draft at La Isla Uptown. Dark brown in color with a thick light brown head. Pine, dark / roasted malt, a little chocolate. Nice, balanced flavor. Finishes with a little heat and some bitterness. Quite nice.

Can - pours black tan head - nose/taste of pine, chocolate roast, light licorice and biscuit malt - medium body
