Flaske 330ml - 6446/7902. Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham på Nerstranda 11 Mar 15. Amber. Litt uklar. Lavt skum. Søt plommearoma. Svakt sherrypreg. Smaken plommer. God - men overraskende tynn & uvariert. Blir for søt.

375ml bottle topped by a cork and a wire cradle, no. 6446 (of 7902). Picked up at the Brewdog bar in Glasgow a few years ago. Orange-reddish coloured body with a tiny layer at the top. Dried fruity aroma alongside moments of spiced black malts. Chocolate malts, plums and a backdrop of basement to the flavour character. Rather sweet aftertaste. Tingling alcohol on the tongue. Medium to full bodied. Nice, not outstanding though (shared with Finn, Tromsø 11.03.2015).

37,5 cl bottle @ lusikka, bottled 06.12.2011
Bottle number missing
Aroma is odd with potatoes, starchy tones, some caramel and toffee. Flavour has potatoes, starch, cardboard, caramel, toffee, alcohol and dried fruits. Also rather strong raisin tones. Not very nice, feels moldy & cardboardy and alcohol comes through too much. One could expect that a beer like this would survive three years but it seems that this was not the case.

375ml bottle
Bottled on 06/12/11 - Pours dark brown with a small bubbly head. Aroma of syrupy malts, caramel, toffee and berries. Taste is syrupy, sweetish and malty with some caramel, raisin, berries and toffee. Finish is flat, sweetish and syrupy with some notes of raisin, berries and caramel. Quite strange.

Bottle at home. Rich, sickly toffee, sweet and malty, tastes more like a barley wine now.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, caramel, oak wood, red fruit, honey, hints of tar and smoked chilli. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, caramel, hints of smoke, honey, red berries, orange marmalade, chocolate, toffee and a slightly bitter-sweet finish with a hint of alcohol shining through. Full body, with viscous mouthfeel. Fairly sweet. Quite interesting and a bit hard to define style-wise. Nice one.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a cloudy deep amber brown with no head whatsoever. Aroma has strong sweet grains and a syrupy note with toffee and a good amount of booze. Flavor has strong toffee and sweet grains with a syrupyness and a bit of booze. An odd beer for sure.

Bottle 375ml at Beer Hunters. Clear deep amber color, tiny white head. Toffee, light alcohol, barley in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Toffee, barley, some alcohol. A bit weakish palate after 2+ years of aging.
