Bottled. An amber beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear deep golden with a small white head. Dry chili notes on a bed of syrupy fruit. Rich body, thick and rich fruits, again syrupy with a rough hop profile and then again quite some chili. Boozy finish. No pleasure in this one for me. I note that others taste coffee where I taste chili - actually I often feel a similarity between the too. But I do feel a slight bite here. 290212

375 ml bottle. Clear, amber liquid with small to medium off-white head. Looks like an IPA or something similar. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, ash, nuts, some butter and caramel malt. Somewhat imperial stout-like but still not too similar. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter and has notes of peanuts, ash, butter and cold coffee. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Interesting experiment but not the best beer I’ve had. Still, enjoyable.

Bottle. VERY STRANGE beer! My friend had me blindtasting this one, and I thought it was a barley wine when cold. It has also got some lightly smoked vegtable notes that reminds me of some kind of german bock beer. Lots of licorice, Very alcoholic.

Bottle. Pours dark golden with a yellowish head. More barley wine like than stoutish. Taste of malt, licorice and hops, rather bitter. I’m slightly bitter myself since my expectations were rather high on this.

Bottle 375ml.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, dusty chocolate, light cofffe. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, chocolate, sweet chili fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light light alcoholic. Hides the alcohol very well and is very easy to drink ;O) Happy New Year Everybody - 2011 last beer rated *
