Pours amber/blonde with a small head that disappears quite quickly. The nose has coffee, white chocolate and hazelnuts. The taste has dark chocolate, a hint of raisins and hazelnuts again. The palate has a large structure, a thick texture despite the appearance and a bit of a cloying/alcoholic finish. Overall, very interesting and they almost nailed it, but it’s lacking balance.

Keg at BrewDog Camden launch day. It pours clear golden yellow with a thin white head. The nose is roasted malt, candy floss, mochi (sweet Japanese rice cake) and some sushi. The taste is toast, roasted malt and candy floss, golden syrup, pear, melon, sushi and alcohol warmth. Full body, fine carbonation and syrupy mouth-feel. An interesting experiment to make a "deconstructed blonde imperial stout".
