Our original flagship, Sawtooth Amber Ale, continues to stand the test of time. Enjoying a pint is like playing your favorite classic album. Nostalgic, influential and a journey to be enjoyed from beginning to end. Malty chewiness slowly transitions over to herbal, earthy hops that make way for the crisp, dry finish of this multi-award-winning ale.

Bottle, 0.355l. Aroma is herbal, grainy, mild caramelly and faint citrusy. Pours clear brown amber color with medium sized soapy cappuccino-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and grainy, following is herbal, mild fruity and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. A bit blunt saw…

Draft at Homestead. Dark brown pour, thine beige head, lacing. Malty aroma, toasty, nutty. Taste brings a little sweetness, malty, mild roast, thins out at the back.

Copper color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is faint with grains and breads. The taste comes across to my taste buds as rye bread and some lingering caramel. There is a moderate bitterness that offsets the caramel nicely. The palate is crisp and full. overall a rather nice bitter.

Taste at the Stanley Beer Hall. Pours a clear, reddish color, with a big, frothy, beige head. The aroma is pine, brown bread, caramel, and hay. Not too sweet, with a hard bitterness. Nice, mellow, malty beer.
