Sample at the Columbus taproom. Black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, charred malt, chocolate and roast coffee. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and chocolate malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.
