Keg at Waterloo Tap. 5.4%. Hazy citrus and marzipan aroma. An opaque light gold. Creamy bubbly white head. Initially light bitter before growing in strenght. A bite of citrus. Hint of unferlying sweetness. Medium bodied. Quite light. Chalky. Soft carb. Astringent finish. Anoter winner. This ones gains more and more bitterness as you drink it.

Bottle at home, 12th November 16. Pours clean. Aroma is aromatic, some citrus. Taste is pleasant, some perfume, bitter hops, it’s nice, not the best Pale from Kernel though

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. Nice to get a Kernel catch up rate. Aroma is really punch tropical fruits, mango , mellon, tangerine, raw bready grains, juicy. A clouded dull orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Flavour is composed of raw grains, little husky, wheat, grassy citrus with background tropical notes, firm citrus bitterness slightly rough round the edges. Really nice balance. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, moderate frothy carbonation. dry finish. Solid.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out fresh piney hops and a big biscuity malt backing. Flavour is uber piney, full of fresh piney hops that smother the palate. Just enough malt to back. Creamy and massively piney. Did I mention this was piney. Very nice - my kind of pale ale.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Murky, grey tinged gold. Ugly head. Looks like cold dishwasher. Smells fantastic, though. Peach. Passionfruit. Ripe strawberry. Sweet grain. Drinks soft bitter. Fair amount of dry. Feels a bit thin. Finishes dry, and light bitter. Looks awful. Smells great. Tastes somewhere in between.
