Taster at Hops & Pie. Pours black, with a thin, tan head. The aroma is big cinnamon, light mocha, brown sugar, anise, and sherry. Sweet and roasty, with a sticky bitterness. Heavy body, with a syrupy, sharp, malty mouthfeel. Quality and delicious.

[1/29/17] Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at a bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Black. Spicy, cocoa, roast, chocolate, sweet, full-bodied, boozy.

Crowler from share. Spicy, savory notes, cinnamon, chocolate, light roasty grain. The Mexican Chocolate rules this though, pretty much forcing you to consider this as the center of this. Sweet and savory, hiding s minor burn. Dangerous!
