Scent Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.

Smell - weak to medium strong, some caramel, malt. Foam - white, quite big, thin, bit watery, some sweetness and bitterness in background. Taste - Some carbonation, sweet, weak bitterness, alcohol taste. Ok beer, but about the same as other similar ones.

Keg at the beer merchants tap. A clear mid golden coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is big spicy yeast, Belgian, clove and cinnamon,, floral citrus, aniseed. Flavour is composed of simple base grains, pils, Belgian yeast, apple, spicy, light phenols. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation.. Not bad.

Huge solid white foam, pale yellow color. It smells amazingly bread, yeasty, interesting, you can't smell alcohol, it's positive. Very intense taste. And not to taste the alcohol either, but the bombs exploding sweetness, fruitiness, freshness, thanks to the good carbonation of the point. Extremely citrusy, not as syrupy as most Belgian strong ale. Very delicious, I really scored unbiased, but what’s good is good. World class beer. Maybe the bubbly sip feeling is what makes it not the “perfect” beer, with a little less carbonation — for me- it would be.

Hatalmas tömör fehér hab, halványsárga szín. Illata elképesztően kenyeres, élesztős, érdekes, az alkoholt az illatán nem érezni, ez pozitív. Nagyon intenzív íz. És az ízében sem érezni az alkoholt, hanem bombaként robbanó édességet, gyümcsösséget, frissességet, a pont jó szénsavasságnak köszönhetően. Rendkívül citrusos, nem olyan szirupos mint a legtöbb belga strong ale. Nagyon finom, tényleg elfogulatlanul pontoztam, de ami jó, az jó. Világszínvonalú sör. Talán a pezsgős kortyérzet az, ami miatt nem "a tökéletes" sör, icipicit kevesebb szénsavval -nekem- az lenne.

Flaska från Beernavigator. 2014 vintage. En långsam gusher, enoromt vitt skum som långsamt lägger sig över rejält disig ljusgul vätska. Doft av friska men söta äpplen, Spritsigt stram och ganska torr, men samtidigt en stor krop med söta fruktiga smaker, lite apelsinskal, lite belgoestrar, jäst och lite som en mousserande stram trippel. Rustik och elegant på samma gång. Tror att åldern är perfekt. Mycket gott.

Frothy white head left a tight head on a translucent light golden active body. Fruity aroma with confectionery & banana. Medium bodied, gassy over the tongue with a clean finish. Fruity floral tastes of peach, coriander, pepper & banana

Keg at Hoppy Loft. It pours clear yellow - gold with a decent white head.. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, brioche, toasted almond, candied peel, straw, grass, cornbread and hay. The taste is bitter - sweet, sticky, candied orange peel, tangerine, boozy warmth, toasted almond, butterscotch, toffee, caramel, oily, cheap white bread and icing sugar with some warmth through the finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. A bit sweet perhaps, but fun anyhow. Not bad.

Gekauft am Flughafen in Brüssel. Klares leicht orange-rötliches Gelb mit viel Schaum. Viel Kohlensäure. Aroma sehr Fruchtig, Bonbon, Zitrone, Malz, Karamell. Spritzig/Sprudelig. Geschmack: Etwas Karamell, Banane, leicht säuerlich, Honig, Malz.

Bottle from Nisa, Hebden Bridge. Golden-amber with a thin head. Has lots of sugars, especially in its nose where some fruitiness is evident, is packed with yeast, which is very evident in its taste, as is its strength. It has a mild sweetness and a small bitter finish.
