Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkling ensures a fine and stable head.
Scent Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.

Clear golden beer with huge luxury white head that stays for long as a big froth hill. Picturesque appearance for sure. Classical spicy yeast aroma. Pear. Lollipop. Medium body. Sweetish malty taste works well with rich yeast spiciness. No real alcohol feel. Still quite boozy. Light grassy bitterness. No surprises. Just good as it is.

So it does have an attractive bottle. Unique. I pour into a Trappist glass delivering an opaque yellow body and a persistent white head. I catch some yeastiness and a light floral scent. The taste is sweet fruit and spice. Not as memorable as some but better than most. Tough competition when you are talking Belgians.

0.33 l bottle from Svijet piva, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666 and Tanja 669. I had this one back in Brussels in 2007, but never wrote anything. Clear golden, small head. Yeasty, malty, light spicy, alcohol. Dry yeasty and malty. Medium body, high carbonation. Lost it’s charm.

330 ml bottle from Albert Heijn. Served in tulip. Cereal aroma with notes of coriander and lemon. Bitterness dominates this beer, but it is also bit sweet. Very nice and lively carbonation. Nice foam head. Aftertaste not that intense. Good Tripel.
