From the sterk Amsterdam. Opening and sharing this bottle with Raoul, yesterday at home with a tasty Peruvian meal. Bottle brewed in 2017, a classical and well balanced porter, all the aromas that you can expect, roasty, coffee, cocoa, dry, mineral, 06.02.23

On tap @ BPBW after. Pours black oily with thick beige head. Nose is pretty sweet, grainy, fruity a bit boozy and and roasty, but there’s no distinct coffee aroma. The taste is pretty much the same, with a much heavier body than one would expect. Decent beer, but not really a coffee porter.

On tap at le cheval blanc.
Jet black pour, mocha head. Huge roasty aroma, big notes of coffee and cocoa. Viscous mouthfeel, and a very dry bitter finish with lingering notes of espresso. Solid porter, but really bordring on a stout.

Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavour is roasty, coffee, with a bitter finish. Body is a bit light. Not standout in any way, simply a very quaffable Porter that I wouldn’t mind drinking again.

Bottle from Beer52. Pours a dark brown with big beige slightly lumpy head. Solid porter aroma of roast, coffee, some berries. Picking up bready notes also. Taste starts roast and coffee then a tangy fruitiness comes in, finishing with brown sugar and burnt bits. Somewhat bitter but its balanced. Just about medium bodied, modest carbonation, easy to drink. I like it.

bottiglia 33 cl, bottled on 22.02.18, bel cappello di schiuma cappuccino media grana persistente, colore marrone intenso nero, al naso caffè della moka malto tostato cioccolato al latte vaniglia una punta di liquirizia, in bocca caffè cioccolato al latte caramello malto tostato liquirizia, corpo leggero, carbonazione forte, dolce con amaro moderato. Gustosa equilibrata bevibilissima. Mi è piaciuta proprio. Ottima. 21.10.23
