Tap. Big and black. Smell is scintillating perfumy soothing impy stout aromas. Taste is straight up on style with a smoothness that must be experienced. Yes, that smoothness makes it a little different than most rude impy stout. Don’t get me wrong, the imp stout style itself is freaken rude. However, this brew possesses a civility that can overcome most nasty imp stout attributes. Smoother creamy palate and palate effects.

Sampled on draft at the Headkeeper this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy dark brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was somewhat faint but malty and toasty with a cocoa note. The flavor was dryish with chocolate syrup, dark chocolate, vanilla cream, anise and bitter floral hops. Very long finish of chocolate and hops. Thick and creamy body. Very nice.
