Like many of the great story tellers before them, our local fishermen might not let a little thing like the truth get in the way of a good story, especially while sitting around the bar with friends after a long day sea.

0.33l can, and I'm pretty sure, a country tick, enormous thanks Zhenya for sharing it with us! Clear pale golden body, off-white head. Sweetish, lean, bit corny aroma. Lean, dry, sweetish taste, light rice-like notes, ending mildly bitterish. I mean, quite nice and drinkable, it's a tropical lager, but among tropical lagers I've done far worse than this!
Country 139, Turks and Caicos 🇹🇨 thank you Amy M. for this one, a very generous gift!

Bottle at the big olde post lockdown first tasting, in the Mere thanks to Shig originally, 20/05/21. Lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off white head. Nose is pale malts, grains, cereals, light citric peel. Taste comprises pale malts, bread dough, light honey, sugars, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for a country scope type bier.
