Draft at the source. Cloudy yellow color, foamy white head. Aroma of light citrus. Taste is watery bubblegum. Not exciting.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is banana and estery. Mild fruity and slight yeasty. Slight estery and vague acidic. Lingering yeasty and mild estery finish.

On tap at Oudaen. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of malts, a little wheat, floral and fruity hops. Very similar again to the previous beers I had. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, floral and fruity, a bit yeasty. Light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Decent.

Draught @ Oudaen Bierbrouwerij, Oudegracht 99, Utrecht, Netherlands 3511 AE.Unclear hazy medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, citrus, orange - mandarin, moderate yeasty, barnyardm soap. Flavor is moderate fruity - grap sugar sweet with a average duration, manadarin - orange metalic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091101]

Hazy yellow colour, big white head. Flavours of banana and spices, maybe some coriander. A bit grainy. Rerate: tap @ Oudaen. Taste is quite malty.

Draught at the brewpub as Ouwe Daen Echt Utrechts Tarwebier. The aroma is sweet and clovy, quite promising. Cloudy dark golden colour with a big and stable, creamy white head. The flavour is slightly sweet and not citric. There is some clove and teaish coriander to it. Good wheaty mouthfeel. Finishes with a little slightly rough bitterness.

Draught Fully hazy yellow with orange shine, disappearing off-white head. Dry, spicey nose with coriander and some grains. Coriander just kills off everything else. Yeasty MF, fully slick by the contents. My God - they were much better in their beginning years. Brewers ought to be learning - this is a homebrewers’ beginners mistake.

This is a very nice wheat indeed. Citric freshness in aroma and flavor. Beautiful appearance. Good overall wheat.
