Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks Odi. Black, tan foam. Roast, licorice, a bit of coffee, sweetish and bitter, alcohol.

Bottle from Craft Beer Kings. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Aroma of burnt/toasted malt, coffee, maybe a chocolate note. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is burnt/toasted malt, coffee, chocolate and something that's kind of dark fruit. Strange melty sensations (heat?) in the back of my mouth. This might qualify (using taste not ingredients) as a pastry stout. Coffee suddenly becomes quite strong. Amazingly varying ale. Get it for the experience.
Smoky coffee booooooooze, warms your chest hardcore.

12 oz bottle from Tavour. Pours out of slick, oily black. Little to no head. Aroma is straightforward with the roast grains and not a hint of the booze. Taste also features the roasty malts, a little bit of brown sugar sweetness and the heat rises up in the back. No adjuncts, no flavorings, straight-up Stout. Tasty too.

Bottle from Tavour. Inky black in color with a thin tan head that slowly dissipates. Rich roasty chocolate with lots of dark dried fruits and a hint of alcohol. I poured this and drank it down in no time flat, that alcohol is incredibly well hidden. I wish I'd bought more!
