Bottled(330ml). -Murky dark red coloured, medium sized pinkish head, bublegum raspberry nose. Raspberry juice is dominant here, some candy sugar and artificial sourness. Sourish-sweet finish. 3.6%
Earlier Rating: 10/27/2006 Total Score: 2.6
Bottled(330ml). –Deep reddish (stum) coloured, pale pink head, pleasant raspberry nose. Lively carbonation. Moderate sweet and strong sour raspberry taste. The longer the beer stays in the glass, it becames more and more sourish. Not so impressive Framboise.

Super hazy rosy crimsoin coloured body with a thin pink head. Aroma of pure raspberries, caster sugar, lemons, malt and a nice mouthwatering tartness. Medium-bodied; Super sweet-fruity flavour that bodes well. Nice tart finish and some malty notes that end the beer. Aftertaste sweet for a long time! Overall, a great sweet beer that would be an excellent pair with a chocolate dessert. Thanks Jon! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 02-July-2005 at Jon(R888710)’s.

Bottle. Poured hazy red with little head. Aroma is clearly rapsberries, with soemthing else just apparent (biscuits, malt?). Palate is medium body with lively carbonation. Flavour is strongly raspberry, unfortunately it is a rather artificial raspberry taste - cordial, syrup. Also, whilst there is pleasant tart note, this beer is really to sweet, especially in the finish. Overall, it’s fine, except for the flavour which is too sweet and artifical - and of course, it’s the flavour that is most important - so disappointing.

Beer is labeled simply as Floris Framboise, not Florisgaarden. Anyway, its a dark rasperry red color, a bit hazy, with a fast pink head, leaving light lacing. Aroma of Juicy Juice berry juice, plus a touch of acidity and tannins. Not too sweet, starts with a big fruity raspberry flavor that segues into a medium tartness that is easy and accessible - not a hard acidity like lambic at all. Finish feels wet, but there’s a drying tannic astringency that lingers even after that. Fair, better than expected actually.

Bottle: Poured a dark red with bubbles. The aroma was of sour raspberries. The taste was sweeter than I expected and full of raspberry, finished dry. The bottle might have been past it’s good by date, but I really don’t think it mattered with this one. Earlier Rating: 2/6/2006 Total Score: 3.1Reddish brown with little bubbles for head. Strong rasberry fruit smell. Taste like rasberry and club soda.
