2016 on tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is toffee, resin, rye, wood, vanilla. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, boozy finish, very nice.

From notes taster at the source 2016 vintage 2016 copper with a white head. Aroma is caramel toffee apple oak. Taste is dark fruit raison fig alcohol toffee barrel is still forward. I can see this mellowing out more with time. Pretty tasty.

750mL cellar-aged bottle shared at the brewery on 3/25/17.
Bright amber-copper appearance with high clarity and a rich beige head that fades quickly to a ring.
Smells oxidized, tastes oxidized. Heavily. Bready and lightly boozy with some vague fruitiness and no real apple brandy character. Had a sip, waited for 20 minutes, had another. Old and undrinkable. Disappointed that they sold this to people. We should have returned it, but I hate being "that guy".
