Tripel Karmeliet is a classic golden Belgian Tripel with a distinct character from the use of three grains.
Appearance: Rich and refined deep Golden colour with a creamy white foam
Aroma: Very refined & complex; with hints of vanilla mixed with herbs and citrus
Flavour: A medium-bodied beer that is delicately warming. There is a freshness from the wheat and a creamy mouthfeel from the oats. Rich notes and soft sweetness of lemon cake join with hints of coriander seed and hay and a quinine-like dryness on the finish.

0.33 bottle. Világos szalmasárga színe és extra apró lyukú hófehér, mégis extra tartós habja van eme hìrességnek. Illata nem hivalkodó, nagyon kerek,letisztult, pici maláta, finom komló, pici gyümölcsösség, ennyi. Átlagosnál érősebb szénsav, búzás alapíz, élesztős,édeskés, koriander az extra -picike savanykás utóíz, de kerek, kifinomult belga triple. Van jobb sör, de kategóriában ajánlom!!!! *** 2021 08 13 - csapoltan is finom nagyon, bár nem gyors ivásra találták ki :) Illat virágos, finom.

It has a light straw yellow color and extra small holes of snow white, yet this durable head has this fame. The aroma is not ostentatious, very round, clean, tiny malty, delicious hops, tiny fruitiness, that's all. More than average carbon dioxide, wheat base flavor, yeasty, sweet, coriander is the extra-little sour aftertaste, but round, refined Belgian tripel. I have better beer, but I recommend it in category !!!!

Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow/gold with a marvellous white head. Aroma of apples, yeast, pear, wheat and citrus fruits. Taste follows aroma plus oranges, marmalade, grains, wheat and some spiciness. Moderately bitter. Dry finish. Medium to strong carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. Grand.

11.2 oz bottle received as day 12 of a 12 day advent mixed pack from my wife. The pour is a clear golden with a huge frothy white head that falls slowly. The aroma is lemongrass, herbal yeast, and sweet floral. The taste is a bright honey sweet malt, dry floral, lemongrass, herbal yeast and warming alcohol. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft natural carbonation and the lingering yeast finish.

Quite nice for a tripel. Great example of the style that is clean, not a ton of belgian yeast notes, but well balanced. Craft beer store dresden. update 2nd time the bottle was online from belgian beer factory, and tasted too bitter, maybe astringent.
