Hoppy Belgian-Style Ale
Mischief is a hoppy Belgian-style golden strong ale. This wickedly good golden ale is fiendishly dry-hopped with American hops to add a layer of complexity and mystery to its fruity, dry Belgian-style character. Citrus and resin diabolically combine with ripe melon, pear and slight peppery spice in a precariously effervescent mixture. Enjoy it, but you’ll want to keep an eye out.

From bottle to tulip. Honey is overt. Strong perfume hop aroma. Stone ground cracker malts. Hazy golden-yellow with a full, billowy white head. Taste is lemon, bready yeast with a moderately dry finish. Very nice.

Drought. Clear and bright yellow with small foamy white head, honey-citrus aroma, crisp and balanced hops taste, medium carbonation, long finish with bitter aftertaste. Loved it!

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, deep golden. Strong aroma. Starts strong, malty, quite alcoholic. Sharp notes. Finish more balanced, less alcoholic. Some fruity hints of apricot. Okay.

(Bottle, 0.75, courtesy of FatPhil, 20140715) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, Belgian style yeast and solvent. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were Belgian style yeast, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was yeasty and bitter. A bit messy Belgian strong ale.

Perfect assimilation of a Belgian ale. Hazy golden in color, with initial lively, airy head, Yeasty, musty aroma, taste of sourdough bread and flowers. Spice and light malts linger.

Bottle, 8.5%. Sweetish, spicy, fruity and dusty aroma. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Very big stable white head. The flavour is citric, sweet and spicy. Rather boozy. Not as hoppy as hoped. Very high carbonation.

Bottle @ D-Day in Mojnlandet :-) Pours hazy light straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and yeast. Sourish, fruity aroma with notes of yeast and flowers and touches of hops. Slightly vinous aftertaste. Soft carbonation. OK but I know more exciting ways to be up to some mischief.

Hazy, dark golden. Airy and rocky white head. Fresh, fruity and hoppy aroma. Sweetish flavour, grapes with vinous bitterness. Fizzy carb, rather dry finish.

Flaska från Craftbeer/Galatea via SB. Gyllenfärgad, klar men med lite fint jästsediment. Fin blommig och fruktig doft av apelsinskal, apelsinsaft, persika. Fin krispig munkänsla, relativt torr, citrusskalsbeska, fruktiga jäst smaker. Jag tänker en torr, men fruktig krispig trippel och en riktigt riktigt bra sådan. Så gott.

10/11 A 0.75 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, huge thanks for sharing! It poured hazy pale golden body with big head. Some orange perfectly blended with sweeter fruits represented its aroma. Yeast was felt in the nose, as well as in the flavor, which was balanced between sweetness and bitterness, but notably inclining to the prior. Citrus, peach and vanilla were dominating, along with some fine herbal spices that I guess weren’t from the hops. Medium bodied with long creamy, caramel, fruity finish. Oh, and alcohol was completely hidden! Well, a nice enjoyable beer indeed, although nothing unseen. I mean it’s obvious they didn’t want to get out of the classical frames which is not necessary a bad thing.
