On tap at Haand Festival. A small, dense, off-white head tops an unclear, amber body. It’s vious and peachy on the nose, with generic fruityness, white sugar and a faint malty touch. The alchol level is barely detectable. It’s sweet in the mouth, the hoppy bitterness trying to bring balance but not succeeding, with lots of fruityness and a vinous, lightly warming alcohol touch. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, and a lasting finish. Overall, perhaps a tad sweet, but I really like it. Sure enjoyable. 130525

Apparently I’ve been a decent husband as of late cuz my wife surprised me with quite a bit of decent surprise beers. This pours ruby orange with huge appealing head. Nose of dried fruits and oak. Tastes of red delicious apples, dried apricot and peach, oaky, red wine residue, caramel, and alcohol. Sweet finish and a palate that coats mouth. Since the temp dropped like 20 degrees this boozy bomber is nice treat.

Leicht malziger Antrunk mit geringer Säure. Für den Alkoholgehalt mild, rund, ausbalanciert aber irgendwie auch langweilig. Säuerlich. OK. 10/10/11/10//10
