Bière d'Abbaye ! Cela est honteux de commercialiser une telle bière sous ce label ! Pas bien équilibrée (alcool à 7 % mal intégré, acidité trop présente, sucre trop dosé) et sur des arômes peu emballants, cette bière n'est pas digne de la tradition brassicole belge. Rien que pour cela, elle mériterait quasiment la note minimale. Le visuel est sur un blond dorée voilé surmonté d'une mousse blanche de 3 mm. Le ne zest sur la pomme de terre, le genièvre, les céréales et le miel. Etrange. L'attaque agresse par trop d'acidité sur des arômes de citron, miel, pomme de terre et épices. En deuxième bouche l'alcool se fait plus présent, mais mal intégré agresse autant que l'acidité. Les arômes sont alors proches du nez. L'arrière bouche, acide comme l'attaque est peu appréciable. Le final, moins acide et avec un alcool qui se calme est plus stable mais toujours sur cette alliance aromatique peu enthousiasmante. Indigne !

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy golden beer with a off white head. Aroma of sweet strong pale malt, yeast. Taste of sweet pale malt, strong malt, honey, yeast.

Golden color, slightly hazy. mandarin aroma. Slightly alcoholic flavor with mandarin. Slightly vinous and dusty. Prickly mouthfeel. Fruity aftertaste. There’s more fruit than character in this beer.

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness and popcorn, hint of yeast and spicyness. Taste has fruitness, spicyness, quite dry. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Nothing special here but tasteful anyway.

At a tasting, smallish creamy head, hazy deep yellow color, light aroma of honey, almond and a hint of vegetables, sweet fruity candy flavor with lots of alcohol showing. Drinkable but not too good.
