Pours black, small, darkly tanned head. Smell is roasty, mild aroma of chili's, some chocolate, rather sharp. Mild coffee. Taste is intense, very up-front chili's. chocolate, creamy, roasted, milder coffee in the back. Touch of spices ( cinamon, but to a very rare ocasion just a hint and certainly not overpowering ) . The heat overpowers the beer, but doesnt become undrinkably hot. It does hide more complex features of the beer though. Nice as a total, I do love this style ( all be it on a rare occasion ) , and this certainly packs a punch, over a thick body and lower carbo ( the way it should be ! )
