We took some of our favorite 2 year old spontaneous barrels and added them to 1,200lbs of whole strawberries to make each batch of beer. These beers that are a great balance of fruit and funk.

Bottle shared at share: pours gold with almost no head. Aroma is loads of strawberry, light funkiness. Taste is strawberry, light sourness, acidity. Excellent.

Bottle shared at DACBE share. Thanks for sharing! Pours a clearish orange with pink highlights and a half-finger of foam that dissipates. Strawberry forward nose with oak, barnyard and must aromas.Wild strawberry on the palate with more funk and mineral notes underneath. Lingering strawberry with oak and light toasted vanilla on the finish. Awesome. Tart/tangy strawberry jam/lemon/lime/skin/seeds/leathery/musty funk. Lt bandaid. Very smooth/tart/tangy/drying. No pucker. Really impressive. Not much off flavors. Big fan.

Hand bottle. Cloudy grey, orange with a small white head. Funky aroma with wood and strawberry and a hint of sulphur. Dry and very tart flavour with ripe strawberry in the background.

Handbottle. Joe you the man. Pours hazy deep red with a bubbly head. Nose is intense red berries. Strawberries. Dry and bitter. A bit of Earth. Good funk. Slight burn in the finish.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a cloudy orange pink with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strawberry seed, oak, funk. Thin body, strawberry, lemon, nice tartness, light acidity, very nice.
