Bottle @ home. Black with a fizzy beige head. Smells herbs and spices, pepernoten. Tastes herbs and spices, sweet, dark malts, raisins and pepernoten. Way to much carbo, hope it calms down soon. Medium to full body.

75 cl bottle (2018) enjoyed with the family at an appropriate time of the year. Deep brown colour, slightly hazy. Light beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: sweetish, caramel, yeasty. Retronasal: sweetish, alcohol, caramel, red fruit. Flavour: moderate sweet, alcohol. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Less sweet than I expected. Solid/classic Belgian strong ale.
