Bottle. Hazy brown-purple color with no head. Aroma is beetroot indeed, hardcore beetroot, not a flavour I like. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Promises made, promises kept.

750ml bottle. Clear, darkest chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, slightly vinous fruity, earthy veggy aroma, notes of beetroot, a touch of blue grapes and dark berries. Taste is dry, tart, earthy, veggy, notes of beetroot, a touch of sand, diluted vinegar, a touch of sauerkraut; watery, almost tasteless finish. Watery texture, minimally astringent palate, soft carbonation. Nose is absolutely OK, taste starts promising, but fades into nothing. Overall too monotonous, the beetroot needs some support whatsoever - the finish is weaker than any Pale Lager you can think of.

Wild festival. Dark red with no head. Sour beetroot and red cabbage. Vegetal farty and wet earth, might have some nice juicy worms. Beetlejuice is back. Weird shit.

Sampled at Wild Festival Groningen. Almost black with short lasting head that leaves no trace. Huge beetroot on the nose. Beetroot, ash, coffee, sour lemon juice. It’s like strongly roasted beetroot in a nice sour ale. Ash and beetroot. Over medium sour, light bitter. Medium bodied. A bit sour but a great mix between a dark sour and beetroot (which I don’t even like).

I don't know.. it's not as in your face beetroot juice as the normal Betterave, but still really a lot. A bit sour, sweet, earthy and just a ton of beetroot. Very different, pretty fun, but not something I'd want a full one of.

Fat på Brewskival. Klar, röd med vit krona. Rejält med rödbeta, aldrig druckit något med en så tydlig rödbetston. Massor av rödbeta, råa och kokta och fint jordiga toner till. Oerhört snyggt!
