N'ice CHOUFFE is the winter beer from the Achouffe Brewery. We recommend that you enjoy it from mid-October to mid-February, preferably by the fireplace. It is a dark beer, slightly hoppy, spiced with thyme and curaçao, and made using orange peel. It has an alcohol content of 10%. N’ice CHOUFFE goes well with any winter dishes.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar Aarhus. Pours dark brown with a medium brown head. Aromas of yeast, dark fruits, malts, caramel, chocolate, citrus, light hops, spices. Taste is malty, caramel, spicy, chocolate, belgian yeast.

Bottle, 10 years past BBD. Pours nearly clear dark copper brown with airy beige head. Dusty and estery aroma with notes of malt, caramel, and fruit. Dusty,mestery and sweet flavour of malt,mcaramel and dried fruit and bitter touches of hops. Dusty and estery aftertaste with bitter, hoppy hints and malty touches. Warming alcohol presence. Old but nice.

On tap at the Waterhuis aan de Bierkant. Dark amber brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is spicy, bit caramel malt, sweet and fruity. Taste is malty again, this time with a bit of bread and a bit creamy. Big foamy head. Beautiful ruby dark color. Aroma has coffee and licorice. Malty flavor with lots of licorice and cinnamon. Strong alcohol burn. Long licorice and cinnamon finish. A very nice beer with just a bit too much herbs.
