Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. Once enjoyed, never forgotten!

Bottle. High alcohol content. Not that good, just like any other cheap malt liquor.

I had not had this beer for at least a decade until tonight. Sampled from an 11.2 oz green bottle this beer poured a bright dark golden color with a large soapy white head that faded fairly quickly. The aroma was sweet, sour, tangy and fruity with a hint of pepper. The flavor is again sour tangymalts with a hint of pepper, sugar and pear. There is a moderately strong alcohol taste to the beer but surprisingly little alcohol burn given that flavor. The alcohol taste lingers and the beer warms the stomach interestingly. Not bad.

Bottle. Golden colour with thn white head. Some hop some lemon but mostly a syrupy stong alcohol smell. However, for all that I quite liked it in a funny way. Does what it says on the tin

Bottle. Clear, golden beer. I was really disppointed with this beer, as it was some kind of happening when we got to drink this beer in my youth. Not much aroma, and the taste is like a common "industrial" lager, only some more hops, and a little alcohol taste. The aftertaste stays for some time, it just crawls around your mouth, but there’s nothing else special to this beer. (050906)

Pour is a bright golden with a big white head. Aroma is skunk even though this sample was still within the fresh date. Flavor is a thick corn syrup and malt combo. The liquid even feels syurpy on the swallow. In the end you get the dose of alcohol. Nothing to go out and look for.

(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with a creamy head. Soft, malty body with a lot of sweetness. Distinct bitterness. A true Danish classic, and better than it’s reputation. 290102 (Bottle 33 cl) Swedish version brewed by Falcon Bryggerier. Nicely fully golden with a dense head. Very marked, hoppy aroma. Full-bodied with the alcohol being a bit too dominant making it a bit hard to drink. 5/3/5/2/10=2,5 040801

(330ml bottle) Clear golden colour, small foamy white head. Grainy and sweet malty taste with alcohol. Sweet and malty tate with an unbalanced but quite well hopped dry and bitter finish. The alcohol is always present.
