Resin and some citrus. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Bitter, malty and pine. Too malty.

Draft at the BJ's location in Glen Allen, VA. Poured a clear, dark orange color, light amber with a small, creamy white head. Aroma was a lot of crisp, resin. Light sweetness, some mild booze. Clean and perfectly fine.

Sweet, with a wort-ish undertone sitting beneath a heavy caramel base. Berry, mandarin orange, and pepper come from the hops, but not enough to stand up to the overstated malt sweetness. Boozy, spicy finish isn’t all that pleasant. Starts out ok, but gets hard to finish.

Amber tan with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. Rough and piney with a distinct crystal malt presence and noticeable booziness. Very long hoppy finish. Mod full body

Sampler at Tukwila location. Dark golden amber color, lots of lacing, clear. Sight fruit juice sweet but then a moderate burst of bitterness. Has just a bit of oily sweetness but then dries out. I could drink this anytime. Not mind blowing but we’ll done.

[2/21/15] Draught at BJ’s Mission Valley in San Diego. Clear amber. Pleasant hoppy aroma, piney and fruity, with a bit of malt and an alcoholic note. Flavor of piney and fruity hops with rather strong bitterness and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied. A bit too alcoholic but nice.

Draft @ the Falls location. Pours slightly hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Moderately bitter grapefruit rind flavor with some pine and sweet caramel. Medium body with average carbonation. By far the best beer I’ve had from them.
