Pours black, smallest layer of tanned head. Scent is pure cocoa, roast, chocolate syrupy goodness. Whiff of coconut and vanilla, fairly silent on barrel and honey , nuts and marshmellow. Taste is full-on intense, chocolate and vanilla bomb. Barrel rises up towards the late taste / aftertaste, dragging the nuttyness along. Mild on the coconut. Super soft and gentle, low carbonation. Thick, intense body. Superb beer once again, as is to be expected. Not the best JWB ever, but certainly one of those that reminds me of those.

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is macadamia, marshmallow fluff, cocoa. Slick body, marshmallow, macadamia nuts, chocolate, nice sweetness, hides alcohol well, enjoyed this.

Powerful tasting at Salesforce
Dark brown colour, near black, no head. Very nice aroma of dark malts, chocolate, spirit. Full bodied, sweet, but the alcohol is even stronger, very boozy, in a good way; molasses, nutty, a bit of vanilla.
Excellent.

Dark toffee and roast and bourbon and notes. Jet brown with a small white head. Rich nice bourbon notes with a long sticky finish. Quite nice.

500ml at Sales Force (thx, Wes H.!). Appearance: almost black. Aroma: fruity bourbon, chocolate, some nuts and booze. Taste: along the same lines with awesome bourbon character, very oily, moderately sweet. Overall: this is awesome beer!

500mL bottle, pours black with almost no head. Nose is full of vanilla, cocoa nibs, and toasted nuts. Flavour is full of dark red fruits, with vanilla, cococut and gently cocoa nibs. The bourbon barrel rounds this off beautifully. Rich, moderate-high sweetness, with vanilla and coconut on the finish. Lovely.

Bottle at share. Black, slick, oily pour. Sweet, very sweet. Kind of potent. Too many different elements to pin any one down.
