With big berry aromas and bold juciness complimented by a dry and crisp finish, this delicious brew will be a fantastic addition to your Thanksgiving feast. Black currants (also known as cassis) have a cabernet sauvignon-like intensity that is balanced with a strong backbone of acidity and sweetness. We added black currant juice to this lightly-hopped wheat ale during aging, and it pours a beautiful magenta colour with a dry, slightly tart finish.

473ml can. (5.0% ABV) Pours a slightly hazy amber-red with a medium, foamy, long lasting, light pink head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of juicy berries (black currant, I guess), wheat malt and light yeast. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, black currant and earthy yeast in a dry, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable, a good summer beer.

Muddy red body and okay foam, soft blackcurrant smells like the potpourri in my stepmother's bathroom. Could be Wal-Mart, but knowing her it could be some craft project from Michael's. Anyways the flavour is mostly sweet black currant, some sourness, okay skin. Finish is slightly watery. A little boring but it does what it says on the label.

Dark berry and some sour skins. Cloudy reddish with a decent white head. Red and black berries with a light wheat note.
