Bottle - hazy amber - smells and tastes like skunky hops, wood, and stale maltiness - it sounded too interesting not to try, but it’s not very good.

Soured woody notes with a touch of higher alcohols. Clearish copper with a decent white head. Utter, sweet caramel and a light caramel finish.

Bright amber. Thin head. Really vegetal aroma. The malts are a bit biscuity, toasty, but then it's a bit sweet and caramelly. I wouldn't know how to identify a plane tree here, but there's a heavy wood note, at least with lots of tannins.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy dark copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is fairly herbal, with gentle wood and British bready malt. Flavour is fairly bitter, with English hops, bready malt, and a touch of wood. Woody, English malt and bitter finish. Pleasant stuff.

500 mL bottle poured. An interesting, unique sounding ale, and it delivers in that category for sure. Clean amber pour. Really surprised how much wood character comes through in this lighter beer. Gives off a dry impression, but remains extremely flavorful. Has a moderately rich malt, caramel, and slightly chocolate even. Maple subtle, wood linger. A nice, unique brew to try. Enjoyed this.
