Vanilla and caramel dominate on the nose with subtle hints of smokiness and sweet biscuit coming through on the palate. An Irish red with a little twist.

Tap at Second Draft for Carbon Brews’ first anniversary party. Hazy dark dark copper brown pour with fine light tan head. Aroma is slightly spicy cola, with vanilla and marshmallow. Taste is nice combo of vanilla and bready slightly spiced malt. Light palate but not too light. Medium bitter finish. Better than expected.

Light smoke and caramel. Cloudy brown with a small white head. Sweet and light cola notes, thin and smoke doesn’t really translate and vanilla is a bit artificial.

Lots of vanilla on the palate. Thin body. Maybe a bit of smoke? But all told, thin and light. This is not really a winning combination for me.

330mL can, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready notes, a hint of caramel, and light smoke. Flavour brings out clashing notes of vanilla, smoke, and caramel. Foul and messy. Terrible idea and poorer execution.
