Troubadour Imperial Stout is a real Imperial Stout, but with a Belgian twist. The beer is almost black and has a solid crème coloured head. It is a powerful beer with strong roasted fragrances. You can taste notes of chocolate, toffee and coffee, followed by a bitter aftertaste.

A pretty good Belgian strong dark. Some sweetness, quite roasty, very herbal and lots of maltyness. Pretty thin, though. Not sure how this is supposed to be a stout. It might be a baltic porter, if by baltic you mean Belgian and by porter dark ale.

Taste is really malty, touch of light coffee, lots of roast. Slightly sweet, but with burnt elements. Liquorice.
