This West Coast stunner is bursting with notes of fresh grass & pine on the nose… but the Kveik yeast has imparted a complex mix of melon & subtle citrus flavours in this unfiltered freak of a beer. West Coast Canada meets Norway meets Hazy in this strangely unique fresh hop IPA.

Really ugly dull mud colour, though the head is quite nice. Smells decent - I mean yeasty but nice pineapple fruitiness, maybe papaya, too. Moderately bitter, yeasty on the palate. A little bit of fruitiness - same tropical notes - and those show up mostly in the finish. Not bad, but a little murky.

Draught at the brewery
Murky dark blond colour, creamy head. Nice juice character from the hop, some guava, also a quite strong note of yoghurt. Touch of farmhouse yeast, more noticeable in the finish, a bit astringent.
Rough but good.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a murky yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty and chalky, with biscuity malt. Flavour is harshly bitter, with earthy notes, chalky notes, and glue. This is egregious. Horrendous.

The aroma is sweet pineapple, vegetal hops, candied skunk cabbage. Has good cloudy yellow body with just a bit of foam. Flavour is muddy sweet vegetable hops. Mouthfeel is full and crisp. A nice chewy and oozy IPA.
