▶“Xiaohan” means “Minor Cold” and is the coldest time of the year. We think everyone should stay home and warm with their loved ones and have something smooth and sweet together during this time.
▶For our winter beer, we brew an English stout with dark-roasted malt and cocoa beans grown in Pingtung, Taiwan. In “Minor Cold,” you will find roasted, milk chocolate, coffee and caramel flavors balanced with its medium and silky body. We are pretty sure this tasty beer will get you through the winter.

古諺有云：「雁北鄉、鵲始巢」，代表著雁群知先機而北返，喜鵲預知冬天將過開始築巢。
▶「小寒」啤酒是以英式司陶特啤酒(Stout)為基底，並部分使用來自台灣屏東所產的可可豆，讓深色麥芽所產生的重烘焙與咖啡香氣，搭配台灣巧克力的醇美質地，調和出屬於台灣在地的冬天啤酒。

Bottle from Jiufen Old Town. Nice tan head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice and hops. Roasty and chocolate finish.

330ml bottle from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a rich, slightly oily, roasty, liqourice, light dark chocolate, light dry coffee palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Tasted remarkably like the Coffee Stout but without the coffee!

Lots of sweet cocoa. Deep brown with a small beige head. Light cheap chelate and lots of cocoa.

On tap at BeerCat, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is full of dark chocolate and little else. Flavour delivers as the nose suggests, with only minimally sweetened dark cocoa. Oily palate, with nothin' but chocolate. Well-structured and tasty stuff.

clear dark brown colour, minimal beige head; aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee, cocoa and hints of soy sauce; taste of intensive dark chocolate, coffee, herbal liqueur notes and burnt sugar; good one!
