We took our flagship IPA and ratcheted it up a notch. (And by notch we mean 100% more hops!) All the Citra & Mosaic that you can handle make this version of the Widowmaker a hop lovers dream. Cheers!

Poured from 473mL can (2026 re-release: 4.7%, 30 ibu, same description/hops). Couple months old (forgot about it). Very hazy blonde gold with small white head. Lots of citrus hops upfront, hint of yeast muting things slightly in the background, but minimal. Decent, probably should have tried this a little bit fresher.

Bright chewy hops on the nose, has good milky yellow body with modest foam. Flavour is nice bright citrusy hops, and there's good full oiliness on the mouth. This is excellent, well done.

On tap at The Magnet, pours an opaque golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with dank hops, lots of pine, some resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is super juicy, with lots of dank hops, resinous notes, pine, and pithy stone fruits. Juicy and dry, with a dank hoppy finish. Excellent.

Draught, Alibi. Opaque and yellow. Frothy head. Has a lot of hop on the nose - quite orangey. And a bit yeasty, too. On the palate it has moderate bitterness, nice orangey notes. Solid...Widowmaker is usually one of the best IPAs in town and the extra dry hopping is fun.

Murky blond colour, frothy head. The aroma is quite dank, with a touch of mango and stone fruit. Smooth mouthfeel, it's moderately sweet, very juicy, lightly dank, with a bit of pithy bitterness in the finish.
Glorious hop, very enjoyable.

Growler from the brewery (thx,Terry H.!) shared with Alex. Appearance: murky golden with a white head. Aroma: generic tropical fruits and dank. Taste: along the same lines, quite dry, but it's juicy at the same time. Some slight onion notes. Overall: good one.
