Creamy tan head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Heavy malt, port & boozy aroma. Full bodied, slightly tingly on the front with a smooth back. Malt, syrup, jam, red berries & boozy tastes. A real sipper

From Van Steenberge: Raisinny aroma with mango and pepper. Sweet, yeasty flavor with raisin and pepper. A bit too alcoholic, but enough bite to make it worthwile. 7 4 6 3 13 = 3.3 From Van Steenberge, best until 2/07, tasted in august 2008: Bottle. Orange brown color, cloudy. Butter and toffee in the aroma. Cream sherry flavor, slightly alcoholic, with butter, toffee and mango. Delicious, aging does this beer well. From Koningshoeven: Bottle. Dark amber color. Cake dough, flowers and some dried fruit in the aroma. Sweet and alcoholic flavor with dried fruit and some perfumed bitterness. Strong and powerful with a reasonable balance.

A rather light tasting quad. But still big in flavour, lighter in color but more drinkable. online belgian beer factory.

Cloudy deep amber to brown. Small head. Nose: dates and figs, peach, dark malts, candy, vinous notes. Full body. Taste: medium sweet, malty, fruity, estery. Warming alcohol. Low to light bitterness. Good quad. Maybe you could easily find some more refined ones. It still makes me happy.

Samarath is is a new try at a new place, Delerium in Amsterdam, NL. Recommended by the bartender, why not. It arrives in a very cool glass in a almost black liquid with an eggshell white head. A small drink then a bigger one, cotton candy sweet, licorice, figs, toffee, quite decent. A Holland thing I am sure never to see again. Nice.
