marvellous appearance of dark amber-to brown colour with ruby notes and a huge, pillowy, yellowish-beigeish off-white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of raisin and other dried fruits (like plum and maybe figs), hints of vanilla, minimal earthy notes, and some alcohol; taste of dried berries, plum jam, some vanilla, anise, alcoholic warmth, as well as large amount of malty sweetness, which is perfectly balanced by resiny hops; excellent quadrupel

Bottle from Konzum, Dubrovnik. Clear amber/brown body with a thick off-white head. Very lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of toffee apple and maple syrup. Flavour of figs, caramel and stewed pear. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Very fizzy. Sweet and boozy - a beer to have with (or in place of) sticky toffee pudding.

Cloudy dark amber, sediments, creamy light beige head. Aroma has dark caramel and hints of dried fruit. Similar flavour plus a little spice and warming alcohol. Good bittersweet balance. Nice.

Marron anaranjada. Poca espuma que desaparece pronto. Pelicula grasienta queda encima. Aroma malteado, con algo de uva y alcohol. Sabor licorizado, ron que combina bien con el dulzor de la malta tostada y un toque de naranja. Buen copazo.

Hazy orange/brown color, with big head, staying. Smell is fruity, red fruits, fig. Taste is a bit sweet, liquorous, but the alcohol is too intense in the taste. Full bodied. Nice, but too heavy for me.

(Bottle) Clear toffee brown with ruby highlights and good off-white head. Subtle and pleasant caramel aroma. Fantastic palate - slightly creamy, very slightly sticky, plenty of body with excellent carbonation that is both mouthfilling and bright. Excellent taste - the backbone is a rich pleasant caramel maltiness. There’s some subtle berry notes in the foretaste and some nice gentle pepper and spice in the finish, with some of the alcohol showing through. Great beer.
