Rook & Vuur is a subtle balance between smoke, chocolate and chili peppers. Although it has a large complexity it is still surprisingly easy to drink. Try combining this beer with a young Gouda cheese and treat yourself. Flavor indication: Chocolate, chili, smoke Translates as Smoke & Fire

Aroma of roasted malts, smoked ham, light chocolate, light coffee, just a little peppery. Flavour is roasty and smoked, thankfully devoid of sweetness, with a little bitterness in the finish. Wonderfully smooth and drinkable Smoked Beer.

On tap at Arendsnest. Big and smoky, cocoa tones as well. Delicious while not being overly sugary or artificial. Great ABV, not big enough to dominate with alcohol. Could pass for an Imperial Black IPA in a blind test. Great beer. (Guess I didn't detect the chili peppers)

Corked bottle. dark brown color. Peat, chocolate and earthy notes in the aroma. Peaty flavor with chocolate, just hints of pepper, nothing more. Not a refined symphony of flavors and aromas, but pure thundering heavy metal.
