Dark brown color, steady beige head. Berryish, cellary nose. Medium to full-bodied. Sweet, toffee alcohol and berries. Unfortunately also cellary notes and vegetables.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours dark brown with a minimal beige head. Aroma is herbal, caramel, alcohol and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from Biernavigatie shared with Kermis. Thin off white head. Clear deep amber pour. Well hidden alcohol. Lots of herbs in the aftertaste. Quite nice

flesje uit het Hekeltje, Alkmaar, donkerbruin tot zwart met bruine kraag aroma van mout, caramout, zoet. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, licht zuur, zeer sterk bier, fruitigheid van rozijn en pruim, redelijk gemout en bevat tevens laurier. medium body, romig in de mond, lage co2, afdronk kruidig en zoetig. donker/zwaar/fruitig maar verder niet bijzonder

Bottle @ benzai. Opaque bordeaux red colour with a full sized beige head. Smells brown sugar, speculaas, pepernoten, lots of herbs and spices, cinnamon. Tastes sweet, brown sugar, pepernoten, herbs, cinnamon. I don’t really like these tastes in my beer. Full body, soft, fizzy carbo.

33cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque red brown autumnal color, full sized beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell malts, "speculaas", cinnamon, lightly other herbs or spices and lightly sweet. Tastes about the same. Don’t like it, not my beer I guess. Low to medium carbonation, ok body.

Cloudy brownish colour with a tan head. Strange parfumed, spicy and fruity aroma. Rich fruity and light spice flavour. Unusual thin texture for a beer with 10% alc. Also a very well hidden alcohol.

Bottle 330ml.Hazy medium brown colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, chocolate, spicy, sweet spicy, moderate yeasty, riped banana, yeast. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, phenol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120523]

Bottled. A murky dark brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, over ripe fruits, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
